Application

MSD / MSQ rollermills are the core equipment within the flour milling process. The machine has a pair of roll chills with a two-speed differential (one fast, one slow) and travel in opposing directions. This carries out the function of shearing open the wheat grain to release the endosperm particles, then grind the released endosperm fine enough for flour production.

Description

The pneumatic servo feeding device automatically adjusts the feeding door by the material sensor of the feeder.

The servo control system can control the meshing and separating of the feed roller and the grinding roller.

The compact mill roll group can accurately control the rolling distance to achieve grain grinding efficiently and stablely.

Strong frame structure design of the grinding roller , can ensure the service life and reliable operation.

    High grade centrifugally cast roll chills either fluted or smooth as required mounted into a horizontal roll pack assembly, resulting in optimum intake of material into the grinding zone and facilitates rapid roll chill changes.

    Engagement and disengagement of the roll chills is pneumatically carried out remotely controlled through a main pneumatic servo mounted on a separate wall panel adjacent and can be linked to the PLC control system.

    The machine allows easy access via side doors for maintenance and cleaning. The differential drive incorporates a high tension double-toothed belt driving system allowing oil free, low noise, easy maintenance and long service life operation.

    The tensioning device of the toothed belt adopts an automatic compensation tension device to prolong service life.

    Self-aligning roller bearings are used for the grinding rolls to ensure highly precise concentric grinding which can sustain high speeds and roll pressures.

    Strong and precise handwheel adjustment ensures that roll gap can be maintained during engagement and disengagement; a locking device holds a steady grinding gap. Highly sensitive adjustment with mercury trip indicators.

    The structure is aerodynamically designed, negative air pressure helps the feed condition to improve the grind efficiency, further the generated air circulation prevents overheating of the roll chill and prevents anti stock fluidization within the roll nip.

    Scraper knifes are utilized to clean the roll chills, with simple adjustment it allows consistent grinding to be maintained.

    Machines roll chill access door ensures that operator has easy access to adjust roll chill brushes or scrapers and are easily detachable as necessary.

    The rollermill is built as a combination of cast iron and mild steel which reduces vibration and noise; this contributes to a precision design to achieve maximum efficiency at every stage of the shearing (break) and grinding (reduction) process.
